[This is preliminary documentation and is subject to change.]

Sets half-delay mode.

Namespace:  CursesSharp
Assembly:  CursesSharp (in CursesSharp.dll) Version: 1.0.0.0 (1.0.0.0)

Syntax

C#
public static void HalfDelayMode(
	int tenths
)
Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Shared Sub HalfDelayMode ( _
	tenths As Integer _
)
Visual C++
public:
static void HalfDelayMode(
	int tenths
)

Parameters

tenths
Type: System..::.Int32

[Missing <param name="tenths"/> documentation for "M:CursesSharp.Curses.HalfDelayMode(System.Int32)"]

Remarks

This mode is similar to cbreak mode in that characters typed by the user are immediately available to the program. However, after blocking for tenths tenths of seconds, -1 is returned if nothing has been typed.

The value of tenths must be between 1 and 255.

The terminal is placed out of half-delay mode by entering normal (cooked) mode, i.e. setting CBreakMode to false.
